EkoLum is a remote
control system for Street Lighting installations that provides an
efficient diagnosis of the current state of each luminaire. Based on
a point-to-point control architecture, the system reports in real
time the alarms coming from the luminaires and allows the remote
switching on/off and the dimming of the lamps.
EkoLum
is a
versatile solution that can be applied to both new and existing
installations. Regardless of the equipment being electromagnetic or
electronic,
EkoLum
adapts
to any case, detecting and configuring automatically with no need of
the installer intervention.
Power
Line Communications (PLC) is a broadband access technology that
uses the low and medium voltage electricity grid to transmit voice,
data and video.
PLC use of the
existing utility power grid as the medium to send broadband data
communications, It is the low and medium voltages that PLC
takes advantage of in order to transmit data at Ethernet-like speeds.
PLC has applications in expansive networking, such as MANs or
CANs, and smaller networking architectures, such as LANs and home
networking.
